Protecting the Eyes

As we all enjoy the beautiful outdoors, remember to protect your eyes from the sun’s ultra-violet rays by wearing sunglasses or photochromic lenses from Zeiss. Without ophthalmic sun protection, our eyes are prone to sun damage as well as sun burn.

As the use of technology becomes more of the norm, we are overexposing our eyes to blue-violet light. Prolong exposure to harmful blue-violet light increases the risk for macular degeneration. To lower your risk, minimize your technology time or invest in revolutionary anti-glare protection from Zeiss–an exceptional lens coating with superior optics that selectively filters harmful blue-violet light and allowing beneficial blue-turquoise light to pass through.

Practice 20:20:20 rule

If you find yourself staring at a computer or on hand-held technology, remember this rule to avoid headaches, double vision, and/or blur:

Rule–For every 20 minutes of looking at your technology, take a 20 second eye break looking 20 feet away (to relax both your eye muscles and your focusing system).
